I finally grew a pair and told Mandy off.

I told her she's been a shitty friend, and she's been stupid and naive.  When she gets hurt again, which she will, I'm not going to be the one sitting back and watching. I've tried, more than once, and have gotten nowhere. I am done.  I may not deserve much, but I don't deserve to be treated like shit, not with everything I've done for her.

This probably makes me the shitty friend, doesn't it?

This is why I only have one girl friend.  Boys are just easier.

I am in absolute love with my family.

Playing king's corners with my drunk brother and over tired mother, listening to the same song for two hours, could not have been more fun.

As for the rest of the night, the 'haunted forest" was anything but. Too many lights, and not enough of everything else. I am happy to report that there was only one clown, and he was pretty weak. The only thing worth writing about was how my sister started crying when we had to crawl though a tunnel being chased by 'chainsaws.' Pretty funny, to be honest. What was not funny, however, is how muddy the ground was. I took a shower and still don't feel clean.

Didn't end up carving pumpkins tonight. No big deal, I hate everything about the whole thing except the actual carving. Messy, slimy, smelly, gross.

All in all, it was a good night. I hope you all had one, too. =]

Bonne nuit, les amours.

p.s. I renamed my sister, Schlitze. If you know who that is, I'm so sorry.

Writer's Block: Volunteering

When it comes to making a difference, some people donate money and others volunteer their time. What cause gets your time or money?
Humane Society. Walking dogs & playing with puppies. Although, I don't do it near as often as I'd like.

Oct. 24th, 2008

I slept in as long as I could today, and still got up at 10.  My sleeping schedule is whack, yo.  Although, it is as such for good reason. Adam's home and we've been going and doing just about everyday, so it would make sense that I'm up for it.

All of this means that I've been missing RedEye, which is not making me a very happy person. Watching RedEye when I wake up is nice, but it doesn't compare to 2 in the morning. I will, however, be staying up for it tonight. Lindsay and I always watch it together on Fridays, and she will definitely not let me fall asleep.

Anyway! This weekend is huge and packed full of goodies..

SAT: Might go shooting with my dad and the boys, although I haven't decided. They all say that everyone should know how to use a gun, which I can agree with, but still am not too sure about. After shooting I think the plan is to finish decorating the house for Halloween, carve pumpkins, all that jazz. And, possibly hit up a haunted house, one that hopefully doesn't have any clowns. But, I highly doubt it. :\

SUN: Well, I really have no idea what's going on on Sunday. So I lied, Saturday is huge and packed full of goodies. Sunday's are always boring, never worth writing home about.

p.s. I chopped my hair off.                    Kidding, I didn't. Just had to fix it up a bit.

We Say: Bob Lamb, Tribune outdoors editor/golf writer, about Damian Miller, former Milwaukee Brewers catcher.

I can’t help but think that Damian Miller might show up in a Milwaukee Brewers uniform in 2009.

No, not as a player, but rather as a coach, especially if former Arizona Diamondbacks manager Bob Brenly is named the Brew Crew’s new manager.
Brenly, who managed the Arizona Diamondbacks to the 2001 World Series title, knows Miller extremely well. Miller was the starting catcher for Brenly’s

D-Backs in 2001.

Miller, a West Salem native, played with the Diamondbacks from 1998 through 2002, added one-year stints with the Oakland Athletics (2003) and Chicago Cubs (2004), before finishing his big league career with the Brewers from 2005 through 2007.

Miller didn’t receive a player contract from the Brewers earlier this year. Although he had a few offers from other teams, he said he would only play for Milwaukee. Miller decided to retire and enjoy life in West Salem.

Some baseball insiders say that Brenly, currently a TV broadcaster for the Cubbies, is the frontrunner for the Brewers’ managerial job.

Considering how well Brenly knows Miller, how well Miller handles pitchers and his inside knowledge of current Brewer players, I would think Miller is on Brenly’s short list for coaches if he does indeed become the next Brewers manager.

It's getting darker & darker, earlier & earlier. I love that.

Anyway, Mandy asked me to hang out tonight, but I told her I was busy. It's easier than I thought to avoid her, I don't miss her at all. She also asked me to chip in for some Halloween party at a hotel, but I passed. I told her I need to save my money, which is true, but I'd just rather not go. Handing out candy to little kids is more fun than drinking with 15 people you don't know, regardless.

New York is looking better & better, if that's even possible. Furthermore, I'm starting to think I'm not going to miss anyone, well, for the most part.

New York is full of people, I'll make friends. Eventually.

I want some snow.

Writer's Block: Cryptozoology

Bigfoot, the Yeti, the Loch Ness Monster, el chupacabra—what is your favorite creature that may or may not exist?
I have a very, very big fear of Bigfoot. You can thank my brothers for that.

So let's not ever go there again.

Writer's Block: Secret Crush

Everyone knows having a crush at the office or in class can make the time pass a little bit quicker. Is it better to keep your crush a secret or tell them how you feel?
Hahaha, well, when it's on your teacher, it's definitely better to keep it quiet. With everyone.

Because, this is what will happen..
-You tell your friends.
-Your friends see this certain teacher in the hall..
- and commence to embarrass the living hell out of you.
- Which, will make class pretty interesting, because you know he knows. And, he knows you know.

All in all, that was a pretty awkward Sophomore year. Although, I did ace Bio.

I finally finished editing all the pictures a little while ago. I figured I'd sign up for a flickr so I wouldn't have to post all forty-something pictures on here.

Sneak peek.Collapse )
